I only discovered Kiss Facility recently, but there’s something about their muted production and hypnotic Arab vocals that kinda soothes and trickles down my spine like a stream. My friends and I went up to Ojai recently, and during the midday summer heat we managed to find much needed respite by a creek that was a little ways north of town. Even though the sun was blazing, we were protected under the shade of riparian oaks, and we dipped our feet in the water and let the fish come up to kiss us, and at that moment I kinda did feel like a tree or a stone or rain that waters the birds.
